Chocolate chip cookies are a CLASSIC!  I mean who doesn’t love some form of chocolate chip cookies?  And let’s be honest.. everyone sneaks a little bit of raw cookie dough before you bake em!  I genuinely enjoy eating healthy and often crave healthy foods, however, I am human and I definitely have cravings for some not so nutritious foods and sweets as well.  This is one great alternative treat to make if you are craving cookies but still wanting to stay on track!  AND it is SO simple!

Ingredients:

1c Oats (any kind)

3 scoops Vanilla Protein Powder (whatever brand you like)

1/2 c Peanut Butter (or any nut butter)

1/4 c Dark Chocolate Chips (or milk chocolate)

1/4 c Milk (any kind)

Measure out the oats, protein, and chocolate chips and mix them together.  Then measure out the peanut butter and add it to the other ingredients.  Slowly add in milk (no more than 1/4 c) till you get to the right cookie dough consistency.  They should be able to stick together on their own.

Then all you have to do is roll them into balls and enjoy!

I ended up making 26 protein bites which equals out to each bite having about 70 calories, 3 g fat, 5 g carbs, 1 g sugar, and 5 g protein.

Pair some of these with a glass of milk and it will be like the good ole days of milk and cookies before bed.

Feel free to throw some in the fridge if you like your cookie dough cold or put some in the freezer to save for a while down the road.  Give em a try guys, they are scrumptious 🙂
